SAT-SCAN MOU
SCAN and Guatemala’s Superintendence of Tax Administration (SAT) have established a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen cooperation in support of secure international trade, supply chain security, customs compliance, and trusted business partnerships. The agreement was signed during the VIII Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Congress in Guatemala City on August 18, 2026.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing trusted trade initiatives through closer collaboration between customs authorities and the private sector. Through this agreement, SCAN and SAT work together to promote best practices, strengthen security throughout the supply chain, and support the continued development of Guatemala’s Authorized Economic Operator Program.
