
Jennifer Kissner is the Director of Global Trade Compliance at Stanley1913 and serves as Chair of the Supply Chain Audit Network (SCAN). At Stanley, she leads the development and execution of global trade compliance strategies, programs, and initiatives that ensure adherence to U.S. export and import laws, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements, and international regulatory obligations.
During her tenure as SCAN Chair, Jennifer—together with BSI—guided negotiations with U.S. Customs and Border Protection that resulted in a joint statement recognizing the mutually beneficial partnership between CBP and SCAN. This collaboration advanced shared goals of strengthening supply chain compliance and security, and CBP formally acknowledged SCAN’s audit protocols as an industry best practice.
Jennifer’s career spans leadership roles in IBM’s International Trade and Logistics division and as Director of Global Trade Compliance at Flextronics International, the Coleman Company, Jarden Corporation, and Newell Brands. She holds both Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees, is a Certified Customs Specialist, and has been a licensed U.S. Customs Broker since 2001.

Lesa has been with JCPenney for 34 years and has always reported through the Trade Compliance department.
Over the years, she has been involved in many areas, including international sourcing, exports, and social responsibility. Her current responsibility as a Trade Compliance Manager includes managing the following programs: CTPAT, Patriot Act and AML Direct Imports, JCP’s Port of Entry Security Process, and providing IPR education to CBP and classification for all JCP direct import merchandise.

Dan Purtell is the SVP of Innovation at the British Standards Institution, responsible for the development of the organization’s global Innovation strategy. He leads a team responsible for the creation and deployment of disruptive technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Immersive Technologies and other tech that is focused on advancing trust within global supply chains with an emphasis on security and sustainability.
Over his career, he’s his assessed supply chain security exposures in 115 countries and served six years as a Supply Chain Security and Terrorism expert for DHS, CBP and the State Department. He was assigned as a Security Advisor for the U.S. Special Envoy for Middle East Peace and consulted on secured trade and export security controls for cargo transiting between the West Bank and Israel. He currently sits on SCAN’s Board of Directors and serves as the Director of Technology and Innovation.
He holds a patent for the development of a supply chain risk and compliance algorithm which analyzes terrorism and supply chain disruption exposures for international suppliers. Mr. Purtell received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, an MBA from Arizona State University and holds an ACE certification from MIT.

Eric has been with Dollar Tree/Family Dollar for over 20 years and has held roles in international supply chain and customs compliance.
Currently, he is the Director of Customs Compliance for Dollar Tree and Family Dollar Stores, where he is responsible for customs and trade compliance activities, including UFLPA and CTPAT.
Before Dollar Tree/Family Dollar, Eric worked for OfficeMax, Inc. in various import logistics roles, responsible for developing and growing their global logistics and customs compliance program. He began his career as a Customs Broker for A.W. Fenton in Columbus, Ohio.
Eric is a graduate of The Ohio State University and a licensed custom house broker.

Patricia Cerisano was the Global Customs & Trade Compliance Manager at Husky Injection Molding Systems, the world’s largest brand-name supplier of injection molding equipment and services to the plastics industry. Patricia was with Husky for 30 years and has held various Customs & Trade Compliance positions during her tender. Her global responsibilities include handling customs and trade compliance teams in Canada, the USA, Luxembourg, Latin America, India, Japan, and China and managing Husky’s global C-TPAT and Customs Security programs.
Patricia joined Husky from Spar Aerospace, where she was Customs & Traffic Coordinator. She holds the professional certification of a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) from the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers, as well as certificates in Logistics from the Canadian Institute of Traffic &Transportation and in Purchasing from Humber College, where she also holds a degree in Business Administration.

Carlos brings a wealth of experience in global trade compliance, supply chain security, and strategic partnerships, most recently serving as Branch Chief at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within the CTPAT Partnerships and Engagement Branch. He has been a long-standing advocate for collaborative security initiatives and has played a pivotal role in strengthening the relationship between SCAN and CBP. Carlos’ leadership was instrumental in the signing of the 2024 Joint Statement between SCAN and U.S. Customs, which formally recognized SCAN as a best practice in supply chain security.

As Executive Director, Carlos will guide SCAN’s strategic direction, deepen member engagement, and expand our audit-sharing platform to further reduce costs and improve consistency across global supplier audits.
